Dr. William F. Marcuson III
Dr. Marcuson was installed as the President-elect of ASCE in October 2005, and will serve as president beginning in October 2006.
He joined the US Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experimental Station in 1970, and served as Director of the organization's Geotechnical Laboratory from 1981 until his retirement in 2000.
He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow and Honorary Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. |
